Pamela will demonstrate archival processing and preservation techniques that will be helpful and fun for those tackling family records collections at home. She’ll discuss the best methods for the handling, organization, and storage of archival documents, books, and photographs, and most importantly, guidelines for loss prevention of those precious family artifacts. 10 a.m., Sunday, May 23, 2021.
A native of Dayton, Pamela Schwartz is a member of the Miami Valley Jewish Genealogy & History Advisory Committee. With a master of arts degree in museum and archival administration, she has served as Warren County, Ohio Records Manager and Archivist, and is a past president of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators Dayton Chapter.
