On the surface, our mission – Guided by Jewish traditions, Jewish Family Services of Greater Dayton provides individuals and families within the Miami Valley with the tools and services to lead a happy and healthy life – emphasizes who we serve, individuals and families in the Miami Valley.
Why I volunteer
Die-hard baseball fans are, among other things, dedicated, loyal and passionate. They will do anything to support their team. Our volunteers are a lot like this, including one of our biggest fans, Audrey Tuck.
JFS Brings Warm Traditions of Passover to Inmates at Dayton Correctional Institution
Sadly, not everyone has warm memories of this very meaningful holiday. An email from several years ago was the catalyst to bring Passover seders to one such group of women.
