Young Adult Division (YAD)
The Young Adult Division (YAD) of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton connects and builds community for young Jewish individual’s ages 21-35 which includes single Jewish students and professionals as well as young Jewish couples and families. Our goal is to offer meaningful programming with Jewish content in order to continue to build a strong Dayton Jewish community. We make programming and events available to them at a minimal or no charge which has been successful in getting them connected to other young Jewish adults. By attending events it ultimately helps them to get involved and provides them with the opportunity to meet the larger Jewish community. By providing outreach to both current and new community members it helps them find meaning in their Jewish journey and foster relationships in all facets of life, from professional, cultural to communal. YAD is the path for the next generation.
The Young Adult committee is very inspired and has lofty goals to have a monthly event so they have the opportunity to stay connected to each other through a Jewish lens and continue to welcome new young adults as they arrive throughout the year.
