Cultural Arts and Adult Programming
- Book Club: The JCC Book Club is open to all community members. The Book Club meets the third Friday of each month at 10:30 AM in-person and via Zoom. Members volunteer to choose and present a book for the group to read and discuss during the monthly meetings.
- Boomers: Baby Boomers from the Dayton Jewish community meet up for a variety of social and educational events several times during the year. Programs include outdoor concerts, cookouts, game nights, exhibit tours, lunches, and dinners.
- Chanukah Brunch: The Adult Chanukah Brunch is held each year in partnership with Hadassah. The program features a delicious traditional Chanukah brunch with live entertainment along with Chanukah songs and prayer.
- Cultural Arts and Book Series: CABS is a celebration of stories, ideas, and voices that bring our community together. Beginning each fall, the JCC hosts a rich mix of author events, both in-person and virtually, so everyone can take part. Click here to visit our CABS webpage.
- Culture Club: The JCC Culture Club brings community members together to attend various performances at local professional and community theaters as a group.
- Field Trips: JCC Adults partner with adult programming committees from local synagogues and Temples to plan field trips to museums, exhibits, and other places of interest in the community.
- Film Festival: Held in early summer, The Dayton Jewish International Film Festival brings the best in Jewish and Israeli cinema to the Dayton area. Click here to visit our Film Festival webpage.
- Lobby Games: Enjoy a variety of table games at the JCC each week, including Canasta, Mah Jongg, Euchre, and more. Everyone, of all skill levels, are welcome to play.
