Presidents Dinner 

Tikkun Olam is a Hebrew phrase and key Jewish belief, which references the shared responsibility to heal, repair and transform the world. The goal of the Presidents Dinner is to bring in world-renowned speakers for a one-of-a-kind experience that will inspire our community with a global message of Tikkun Olam on an intimate level. We accomplish this by making the event accessible to all community members, while at the same time providing Corporate Sponsors the opportunity to gain awareness for their exposure. 

Presidents Dinner is held annually between May and June.

• 2025 – Mandana Dayani, Jewish Iranian refugee, activist, and advocate 
• 2024 – Rabbi David Wolpe, World renowned Emeritus Rabbi at Temple Sinai 
• 2023 – Kerri Strug, Olympic Gold medal winning gymnast 
• 2022 – Noa Tishby, Israeli-American actress, producer, writer, and activist 
• 2019 – Dr. Ruth Westheimer, World-renowned psychosexual therapist, author, and lecturer 
• 2018 – Lior Raz, Lead actor and co-creator of the critically acclaimed Netflix drama series FAUDA 
• 2017 – Dr. Deborah Lipstadt, Professor of Modern Jewish and Holocaust Studies at Emory University in Atlanta 
• 2016 – Randi Zuckerberg, Founder & CEO of Zuckerberg Media

A Sisterhood of philanthropic giving within our Dayton Jewish community. Women philanthropists are the change-makers and community-shapers of the world. We are sisters and daughters, mothers and friends, compassionate and committed women at every stage of life. The Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton’s Women’s Philanthropy offers a way for Jewish women to engage in the fulfilling work of tikkun olam. Our collective philanthropy enriches our own lives while improving the lives of others. 

The Men’s Philanthropy giving societies provide recognition for the amazing commitment so many men have made to our community. The giving levels also inspire others to step up and join our campaign at a new level. 

The Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton’s Men’s group recognizes the brotherhood of philanthropic leadership that exists within our community. This group is made of up of men from across the Jewish community, of all ages and backgrounds, who have made a strong commitment to supporting the Jewish people and the work of tikkun olam. 

This brotherhood of philanthropists is leading the way and inspiring others to make a difference. 

The Young Adult Division (YAD) of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton connects and builds community for young Jewish individual’s ages 21-35. This includes single Jewish students and professionals as well as young Jewish couples and families. 

The goal of YAD is to offer meaningful programming with Jewish content to continue to build a strong Dayton Jewish community.
