Our Agencies Jewish Community Relations Council

We work to combat antisemitism by raising awareness, providing education, and building strong partnerships across the Miami Valley. We collaborate with national organizations, local leaders, schools, and faith communities to confront prejudice and ensure that Jewish community members feel safe and supported.

Through advocacy and education, we ensure that the Jewish community has a voice in shaping fair and just public policy. We engage with elected officials, civic partners, and interfaith leaders to promote security, inclusivity, and the values of democracy. By strengthening these relationships, we work to build a community where all people can thrive.

We partner with Ohio Jewish Communities (OJC), which represents Jewish Federations across the state at the Ohio Statehouse. OJC advocates on behalf of the Jewish community to ensure security funding, promote religious freedom, and strengthen Ohio’s ties with Israel. Through OJC, we participate in both planned and emergency fly-ins to Washington, D.C., as well as biannual advocacy days at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, ensuring our community has a strong voice at both the state and federal levels.

Supporting Jewish students and families has always been a priority for our community. Ensuring that school staff, faculty, and administrators understand Jewish holidays, traditions, and concerns helps create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. 

Since the tragic events of October 7, 2023, campuses of all kinds — from K–12 schools to colleges and universities — have been profoundly impacted. Jewish students and families face new challenges, including increased antisemitism, isolation, and the need for greater understanding from peers and educators. By equipping schools with resources and information, we can work together to ensure safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environments.
