Yom Hashoah Remembrance
Our community is dedicated to preserving the memory of the Holocaust and ensuring its lessons are never forgotten. Each year we observe Yom HaShoah – Holocaust Remembrance Day with a community-wide service, held at one of our synagogues on a rotating basis. We also recognize International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27), joining the global community in honoring survivors and remembering the six million Jews who perished. This work is guided by two dedicated volunteer committees — the Holocaust Education Committee and the Yom HaShoah Committee. These groups develop programs, create educational resources, and plan meaningful remembrance events that bring together people of all ages and backgrounds.
