Megdal delves deeply into the lineage of women’s basketball in the state of Iowa where Clark was born and raised. He is able to trace the development of Iowa women’s basketball from the popular 1920s 6-on-6 game and examines Caitlyn Clark’s style of play in the light of those who preceded her.
