The Dayton Jewish Observer’s Marshall Weiss will share the surprising Jewish connections – way beyond the obvious – to the first biblical epic, Cecil B. DeMille’s 1923 silent The Ten Commandments. The program will include a partial screening of the 100-year-old film. Marshall will also share artifacts of the film from his collection.
A program of Miami Valley Jewish Genealogy & History, in partnership with Beth Abraham Synagogue Men’s Club’s Rick Pinsky Brunch Speaker Series and Temple Israel Brotherhood’s Dorothee and Lewis Ryterband Lecture Series.
