Please join us at Beth Abraham Synagogue for a weekend of Song, Study, and Community, culminating in Rav Aubrey Glazer’s installation.
We welcome Joey Weisenberg, founder of Hadar’s Rising Song Institute, for an experiential weekend of sound, song, and learning. Throughout Shabbat we will explore how melodies can be inclusive, expansive, and build community.
Friday Night at 5:30 p.m.: A spiritually uplifting and song-filled Kabbalat Shabbat Service, followed by Shabbat dinner. $26 adults/$13 children ages 3-12 and $75 family. RSVP by August 16 online at bethabrahamsynagogue.org or call the office at 937-293-9520. Nigun Circle to follow.
Saturday Shabbat Services at 9:30 a.m.: Joey will lead us in a song-filled Shacharit service. Followed by Kiddush lunch and a learning session, with Joey, The Torah of Music.
Sunday Installation Concert at 1:00 p.m.: Joey combines original music with ancient prayer, musical virtuosity, and grassroots folksong as we officially install Rav Aubrey Glazer. Reception to follow.
