In this special performance, the Dayton Jewish Chorale strives to bring people of all faiths together to celebrate the richness of Jewish music from across the globe. This unique concert draws upon diverse selections from Uganda, Israel, Italy, and more, and features Yiddish, Hebrew, Yemenite, and Sephardic folk songs as well. From our small, humble beginning in 2015, the Chorale has grown to 30 active singers, led by Cantor Jenna Greenberg. We have had the pleasure of performing in many venues, including the Dayton Art Institute, Cox Arboretum, the Dayton Masonic Center, and the area’s synagogues with nationally known Jewish musicians like Joshua Nelson and Noah Aronson. Most recently, we sang with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Neal Gittleman. Your support of this fundraising concert allows us to continue to bring the best of our musical traditions to everyone in the Miami Valley. We are thrilled to make our first appearance at the new PNC Arts Annex!
