We will continue our discussion of the Eastern European Jewish immigrant experience by describing the lives of immigrants as they navigated the streets of several large cities while trying to eke out a living. Many of these immigrants brought their food preferences with them from Eastern Europe which made an imprint on American society. Bring your stored memories and photos of your parents, grandparents, and great grandparents to share. Recipes from our immigrant ancestors will be available.
