Interfaith Thanksgiving: Dayton Stronger Together
November 25 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Temple Beth Or is proudly hosting the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service with our friends in Kettering churches. This year’s 32nd-annual event is themed “Dayton, Stronger Together” and will take place on Monday, November 25th at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Beth Or. Clergy, choirs, and members of Temple Beth Or, Christ United Methodist Church, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, David’s United Church of Christ and the Muslim community will provide a meaningful evening of worship.
Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley will join us and pass on greetings from the city.
We are also collecting donations of microwaveable, single serve macaroni and cheese, cereal bars and/or juice boxes for Food2Go, an organization that provides food for food insecure Centerville students.
The first Interfaith Thanksgiving Service was held at Temple Beth Or in 1988 with Christ United Church and St. Charles. David’s United Church of Christ joined in our partnership in 1989. Recently, Muslim friends joined our circle as well. Don’t miss this beautiful, long-standing tradition.
