Dr. Denise Starr joins us to discuss the behavior changes our pets may experience as our social and work lives begin to adjust.

We want to see your pets! Send in photos of your fur babies and their names! We will create a little slideshow to share during the event. Please email your photos to madams@jfgd.net.

Dr. Denise Starr is originally from Lima, Ohio. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from The Ohio State University in 1996 and started her studies at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine soon after. Dr. Starr joined the staff at Northmont Animal Clinic in June 2000, after receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Starr’s professional interests include cardiology, and preventative medicine. She also has a special fondness for pocket pets, especially rats. Dr. Starr’s other great love, besides veterinary medicine, is Ohio State football. As the staff can attest, she can talk about it all day long! Her other hobbies include kayaking, hiking,  and scrapbooking. She is presently the proud owner of six cats–Streak, Eugene, Rosita,  Ho Jo, Phantom, and Forrest.
