From our earliest history principles, religious freedom and the concept of separation of church and state has been voiced in the development of the United States. BUT is this still relevant in today’s world? Religious freedom exists and is maintained for all Americans, particularly religious minorities, by respecting the constitutional principle of Separation of Church and State. Through education and advocacy, Michael Goldman and others from Congregation Beth Adam Cincinnati, push back against the weakening of this separation. To quote James Madison, “Religion flourishes in greater purity without the aid of government.”
