Tenement Museum Virtual Tour

7 February 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Take a virtual tour of the Tenement Museum in New York City’s lower east side. We’ll walk through the lives of the Rogarshevsky’s, a Jewish American family from Lithuania, who lived at 97 Orchard Street in 1911 and balanced their home life with working in garment factories across the city. You’ll learn about daily life in the past, see the spaces, meet the people, and get to ask us questions about the history.

This program is for all ages, but is most suitable for children aged 8 through adult. This event is a partnership between JCC and PJ Our Way.

Want to join an intergenerational letter swap based on the themes of this program? Sign up and provide your address to write a short letter to a surprise pen pal! PJ Library Coordinator Kate Elder will be in contact with a writing guide!

Register below by clicking the + button and fill out the following fields.
