Mayim Bialik holds a PhD in neuroscience and is the author of four books, including one each about growing up male and female. She runs Grok Nation, a virtual community for deep dives into contemporary issues, and is both an Orthodox Jew and staunch Zionist. And have we mentioned that as an actress she played the title character in Blossom, a neurobiologist in The Big Bang Theory and is executive producer and star of Fox’s upcoming sitcom Call Me Kat?
