During the COVID-19 health crisis, social distancing is about physical distancing and mitigating the spread and impact of this virus. For some, physical distancing results in social isolation. A simple act, making a phone call, can help overcome feelings of isolation for both parties, the person making the phone call and the one on the receiving end. So…..
Do you want to make a new friend? You can register below as a volunteer to make calls or as a senior who would like a regular phone call from someone in the community. JFS will connect volunteers and seniors!
Please note: volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. Any volunteer who is 18 or older must complete an online background check. Upon your completion of the form below, a staff member from Jewish Family Services will be in contact to give you more information and volunteer materials.
