As we prepare to bring in the New Year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect. I don’t think any of us could have envisioned what this last year would entail. We have all been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in some way, shape, or form.

At Rosh Hashanah, we say L’Shanah Tovah – a good year. This year those words feel even more meaningful. The definition is somewhat different for me this year. In general, I wish for normalcy; to spend quality time with family and friends, to enjoy leisure activities without threat of getting sick, and to come together with all of you in this amazing Jewish community.

As you prepare to celebrate the New Year, I hope 5781 brings you and your loved ones Health and Peace.

L’Shanah Tovah.
