Dear potential JCC Maccabi Athletes,
My name is Marc Jacob. I am the Executive Director of the Dayton Jewish Community Center and have been involved with the JCC Maccabi Games in some way or another for the last 25 years.
The Games, a weeklong event (July 28 – August 2) held in Detroit, are part of the largest single gathering of Jewish youths in the world. More than just sports, the games include an opening and closing ceremony, evening activities, host family experiences, time with friends, and much more. Team Ohio (Dayton, Columbus, Toledo and Youngstown) is looking for athletes in the following sports:
• 3v3 Basketball (Boys 14U & 16U)
• 5v5 Basketball (Boys 14U & 16U)
• 5v5 Basketball (Girls 16U)
• Baseball (Boys 16U)
• Golf (Coed 16U)
• Dance (Coed 14U & 16U)
• Ice Hockey (Coed 16U)
• Soccer (Boys 14U & 16U)
• Soccer (Girls 14U & 16U)
• Star Reporter (Coed 16U)
• Swimming (Boys 14U & 16U)
• Swimming (Girls 14U & 16U)
• Table Tennis (Coed 16U)
• Tennis (Boys 14U & 16U)
• Tennis (Girls 14U & 16U)
• Volleyball (Girls 16U)
