Thanks to the generous support of Marcia and Ed Kress, the Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton, in partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, is able to give the gift of PJ Library to our Dayton Jewish community.

PJ Library (PJ stands for pajamas), in partnership with local communities provides families with the gift of free, high-quality children’s books, music, and other resources that foster Jewish learning and create a gateway for deeper engagement in Jewish life.

Promoting literacy and bringing Jewish values and education into homes has been a core passion of Marcia and Ed Kress, and the PJ Library mission serves as the perfect vessel to building those ties within the Dayton Jewish community. “We are thrilled to support such an amazing program as PJ Library. Children and families thoroughly enjoy receiving and reading the books — we’ve seen it first-hand with our own grandchildren,” says Marcia Kress.

Families with kids ages 6 months through 8 years old with Judaism as part of their lives, are welcome to sign up, regardless of their Jewish background, knowledge, or observance. To learn more, contact our PJ Library Coordinator Juliet Glaser at jglaser@jfgd.net.
